Our story
ClimateScience wants to make real, high-impact, long-term solutions to climate change actionable.
When googling 'How to solve climate change?', our founders were not happy about the many inaccurate, over-simplified, and often conflicting results they got.
ClimateScience wants to make real long-term solutions to climate change actionable. We hope our way of covering solutions makes people excited to contribute to clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and other global-scale sustainability issues – beyond reusing their plastic bags.
We were founded in 2019 by two students at the University of Cambridge. Now, we are 126 volunteers from 26 countries, ranging from scientists, to authors, graphic designers, programmers.
Our content is used in schools around the world, and we are aiming to make our way into official curricula. But students, professionals, and really anyone who wants to learn about solutions to climate change can do so through our free online courses.
We also offer a growing book series for kids aged 7-10 which follows Earthly's friends around the world who are trying to cure her of climate change.
